When creating a new gaming session you currently have 3 options when deciding how the session will post: Public, Group Only and Friends Only.
- Public
- This is the default selection
- In the "Which Group?" field, if "None" is selected the session will post only to the public games section (not in any groups).
- Anyone on your friends list will receive a notification provided they have "New Friend Games" notifications enabled.
- Members of the group you post to will be notified of the session being created provided they have "New Group Games" notifications enabled.
- If you do select a group in the "Which Group?" field, a session will be listed to that group AND the public gaming sessions section.
- Visible To Group
- Selecting "Visible To Group" when creating a session will list the session under the group you specify in "Which Group:"
- Will not list the groups in the public games listing.
- Members of the group you post to will be notified of the session being created provided they have "New Group Games" notifications enabled.
- The game session can still be found by anyone who browses through the group pages or by one of your friends who browses friends upcoming games.
- Visible To Friends
- Selecting "Visible To Friends" will not list the session to any groups or in the public games.
- Only people who are on your the100.io friends list will be notified of the session creation provided they have "New Friend Games" notifications enabled.
- Sherpa Requested
- Use this option when you need some help getting an activity done or help navigating the site. Sherpas are friendly guides, willing to help new players both in-game and here on the100.io
- This game will be posted as a Public Game due to abuse by some users
- Beginners Welcome
- Use this option when you are willing to help teach someone how to complete an activity or navigate the site/app.
- You must be willing to help new players both in-game and here on the100.io
- Every time you help others or welcome new players, you'll earn Sherpa points.
- Earn Sherpa points at the Rookie HQ, where you can post and join games and respond to others requesting help. Help others and earn rewards including a Sherpa badge, free supporter perks, and more!
